Ultimate Asset is partnering with a globally recognised performance marketing and advertising technology platform undergoing continued expansion across APAC and Greater China.
As part of this growth, we’re hiring a commercially minded HR Director APAC to partner closely with senior Enterprise Sales leadership across the region, driving high-impact people strategy, employee relations, organisational effectiveness, and leadership support within a fast-paced international environment.
This is a highly visible regional leadership role with exposure to senior global stakeholders and responsibility across multiple APAC markets.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of commercial performance and strategic HR partnership.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, supporting complex organisational decisions, strengthening leadership capability, and ensuring people strategy aligns directly with business outcomes across the region.
Critically, this is not a “follow the global blueprint” HR leadership role.
Success requires someone who genuinely understands the operational, cultural, legal, and leadership nuances across different APAC markets, and who can apply sound judgement accordingly. The business is looking for a regional HR leader capable of balancing global alignment with local market realities, rather than simply executing centrally driven frameworks.
The environment is lean, fast-moving, and highly collaborative, requiring someone comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on day to day. This role will suit an HR leader who enjoys being close to the business, navigating complex people situations directly, and operating with high personal ownership across multiple markets.
Candidates based across APAC are encouraged to apply, however relocation to the company’s regional headquarters in Thailand is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with senior commercial leadership across APAC and Greater China
- Lead complex multi-country employee relations matters across diverse APAC markets
- Support organisational design, restructures, leadership coaching, and performance management initiatives
- Drive commercially focused people decisions aligned to regional growth objectives
- Balance local market realities with global HR frameworks and governance
- Navigate nuanced country-specific employment challenges using sound regional judgement rather than standardised approaches
- Identify emerging people risks, engagement trends, and organisational challenges proactively
- Work cross-functionally with HRBPs, COEs, shared services, and global stakeholders
- Champion modern, technology-enabled HR operations and AI-driven productivity initiatives
Requirements
- Extensive HR Business Partnering or HR Director experience within APAC
- Strong experience supporting commercial or sales-led organisations
- Deep understanding of multi-country APAC employment legislation and employee relations
- Proven ability operating within fast-paced international matrix organisations
- Experience handling complex people matters across culturally diverse APAC markets
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership influencing capability
- Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with strong personal ownership
- Comfortable operating both strategically and operationally in a lean environment
- Experience navigating ambiguity and operating effectively within lean teams
- High curiosity around AI, automation, and modern HR technology
- Willingness to relocate to Thailand full-time
