The Media Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Programmatic Activation to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead and manage programmatic advertising operations, with a strong focus on activation strategies and campaign execution. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive effective programmatic advertising campaigns aligned with clients’ marketing goals, delivering measurable results and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive programmatic activation strategy that aligns with clients’ objectives, target audiences, and budgetary constraints. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure cutting-edge programmatic activation strategies.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand campaign requirements and goals. Design programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple channels (display, video, mobile, social media) to effectively reach target audiences. Oversee the implementation, optimization, and performance tracking of programmatic campaigns. Conduct regular data analysis and use insights to drive campaign optimization, including targeting, creative, and messaging adjustments.
- Lead a team of programmatic specialists and analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Ensure effective workload distribution, resource allocation, and timely project delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with programmatic advertising platforms, ad exchanges, data providers, and other relevant partners. Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure efficient collaboration to maximize campaign performance and deliver exceptional client service.
- Manage programmatic advertising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and efficient spending. Monitor costs, evaluate ROI, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance within budgetary constraints.
- Provide regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting campaign performance, key findings, and recommendations for improvement. Effectively communicate complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
- Experience in programmatic advertising, preferably in a media agency or digital advertising environment.
- In-depth knowledge of programmatic advertising platforms, ad exchanges, and data management platforms. Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad formats, targeting options, and campaign optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated track record of planning and executing successful programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple channels and industries. Proficient in data analysis and interpreting campaign performance metrics.
- Experience in team leadership and managing a high-performing team. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in programmatic advertising.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field (preferred).
