Brand Partnerships Group Head – Major News Brand
Salary: £60 – £70K + comms
My client is a highly respected news and entertainment brand with highly respected editorial reportage and content that resonates on their OOO channels as well as social.
Due to growth and a spike in RFPs, my client seeks a highly credible partnerships operator with an excellent black book of client and media agency contacts across all of the major ad agency networks who can come in and take control of one of the agency trading hubs at our client’s organisation.
The successful candidate will also have an eye for a good idea and be able to inspire and excite clients with brand partnerships proposals that secure long-term and repeat business. Ensuring the customer also has an excellent delivery experience is also key,
Person requirements:
- Super well connected with contacts at Media Agencies. Managing Partner, Comms Planning Directors, Trading Directors and Heads Of Digital, Partnerships Teams
- It’s also advantageous to possess client contacts in the autos, ents and finance categories
- Excellent knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem
- Lead and close deals from the front as well as help the team close
- Be a collaborator – comfortable operating in a cross-functional matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders
- Positive solution-driven can-do attitude
- Innovative, curious mindset, culturally aware of popular culture and trends
- Consultative sales style, able to influence clients and agencies through persuasive sales arguments using data, research and insight
- Accurate revenue forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Deliver revenue targets and surpass and smash set budgets with a view towards driving growth
- The ability to also account handle projects from end-to-end to build trust and confidence in clients thus driving repeat business
