Brand Partnerships Sales Director – Online Community/Online Publisher:

Salary – circa £70K + 30% comms

Job Summary:

My client is currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Brand Partnerships Sales Director. As the Brand Partnerships Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by selling advertising solutions across digital platforms, brand partnerships, programmatic advertising, and influencer marketing. My client is looking for a candidate with a proven sales track record, a deep understanding of the advertising industry, and exceptional client relationship management skills. They are a business who are doing some great partnerships with advertisers currently!

Key Responsibilities:

1) Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to maximize conversion rates.
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients to achieve sales objectives.

2) Advertising Solutions Expertise:

  • Possess an in-depth understanding of digital advertising solutions, including brand partnerships, programmatic advertising, and influencer marketing.
  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend their business needs and provide customized advertising solutions aligned with their objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

3) Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure utmost satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and recommending effective advertising solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and operations, to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery.

4) Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and inspire a sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales efforts with marketing initiatives and overall company goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in selling advertising solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, including brand partnerships, programmatic advertising, and influencer marketing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Experience in team leadership and a proven ability to drive sales performance.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
