Salary circa – £52K basic + competitive commission

With unique and patented tech (meaning they have limited competitors) and having created a fair and innovative way to consensually collect mobile user behaviour data from consumers, by incentivising them fairly to share their data, this company collects data used by big tech such as Meta, through to SME’s to help them understand how people engage with their phones on a granular level which can inform a number of things, from future product development, app development, competitor analysis and better understanding consumers/user behaviour in general.
Position Overview:
They are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SAAS Sales Account Executive to join their dynamic team at a leading Data Collection business. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with enterprise-level /SME customers. Your primary focus will be on selling their cutting-edge data collection SAAS solutions to clients across various industries.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and target key prospects within the enterprise market, including large corporations and organizations.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand customer needs and challenges, and position our SAAS solutions as effective data collection tools.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to articulate the value proposition, benefits, and ROI of our SAAS offerings.
Account Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations.
- Understand the unique requirements of each customer and tailor sales presentations and proposals to address their specific needs.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Regularly engage with existing customers to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.
Sales Pipeline Development:
- Generate new leads and opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, networking events, and referrals.
- Qualify leads and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide feedback on market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape.
Industry Knowledge and Market Awareness:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position our SAAS solutions in the market.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build a strong professional network and promote their brand.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in SAAS sales, preferably in the data collection or related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in selling to enterprise-level customers, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand customer needs and pain points, and align them with appropriate solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented, with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering win-win outcomes for customers and the company.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer information.
