We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategy Director with a proven track record of success in winning agency pitches and a keen ability to craft compelling narratives. As the Strategy Director, you will lead and develop strategic initiatives, drive the agency’s GTM messaging with clients, and create engaging storytelling strategies that resonate with our clients and target audiences. The ideal candidate should be a visionary leader with a passion for innovation, possess excellent communication skills, creativity, high levels of emotional intelligence and demonstrate a strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour.
Reporting to the Divisional MD, this is a key leadership role in the agency.
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive, innovative strategies that align with the agency’s business objectives and client needs.
- Centrally unify strategic planning models and set the tone for the rest of the agency
- Oversee and drive the agency’s pitch process, ensuring the delivery of persuasive and compelling presentations that effectively communicate the agency’s value proposition and unique selling points.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends, and utilize insights to develop tailored strategies that give the agency a competitive edge in the market.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and business development, to develop integrated solutions that meet client objectives and exceed expectations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in addressing their business challenges and objectives.
- Provide thought leadership within the organization and the industry, staying updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in advertising, marketing, and storytelling.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence in strategic thinking and execution.
