£65,000 – £80,000 per annum + Bonus

The Opportunity

We’ve partnered with a leading, international management consultancy, who in recent years created a marketing & media services advisory division. They work across the industry, including Advertisers, Publishers, AdTech Vendors & Media Agencies on pioneering transparency and technological improvements.

Tackling transparency is a key agenda point, it has become the main challenge they are trying to fix and offer advice, and consulting services. However, due to increased demand and expansion, they are developing their offering, which now includes general media consulting, contract negotiation, pitch management & channel development.

This opportunity would be focused on bringing real world knowledge from a cross-comms & media planning background to support both advertisers (brands) and agencies, through the means of consulting. Projects are incredibly varied, but the satisfaction you’ll gain from helping see growth & development will be unrivaled.

The role will be focussed on consulting the two key areas within advertising:

  • Advertisers: optimize and audit spend, understand where the money is going and where it is being used effectively. But more importantly, general media advice & oversight on strategic proposals & agency management.
  • Agencies: as the market matures, agencies will also be asking for help to demonstrate transparency to their clients.

What’s the required skill set?

  • Highly technical, yet consultative with regard to media planning & buying.
  • Experience across 1 of the 3 key areas in advertising (Media Agency, Advertiser or Consultancy)
  • Experience in a Communications planning or media planning/strategy role.
  • Fantastic communication & presentation skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Very good understanding of the digital advertising landscape
