Account Director, Sales
Account Director, Sales
London | £70,000 to £80,000 plus commission | Adtech and Audience Intelligence
The strongest media sales propositions usually begin with a problem the market genuinely needs to solve.
For this business, that problem is audience understanding.
As cookies disappear and identity becomes increasingly fragmented, advertisers still need to know who their customers are, where they spend time and how media influences what they eventually do. This Adtech business has spent more than a decade building technology designed to answer those questions using anonymised real world data rather than personal identifiers.
Its platform combines mobile, financial, location and behavioural signals to build bespoke audiences, uncover meaningful insights and activate those audiences across programmatic media. Planning, buying and measurement sit within the same proposition, giving advertisers the ability to connect audience intelligence much more directly with campaign outcomes.
That proposition has now entered a much bigger chapter.
Following a recent acquisition, the business is becoming part of a broader international platform combining audience design with location intelligence, omnichannel media and AI. The combined group has been expanding rapidly across Europe and other international markets, with CTV and programmatic digital out of home identified as important areas of future growth.
For the London commercial team, that creates a significant opportunity.
They are looking for an Account Director who can take ownership of strategically important agency or client relationships and help build the next stage of revenue growth.
You will be expected to understand your patch deeply. That means knowing the agencies, teams and decision makers, identifying where the proposition can solve genuine client challenges and creating opportunities that go beyond responding to incoming briefs.
The role combines new business development with strategic relationship growth. You will bring senior stakeholders into the conversation, develop larger partnerships and work closely with internal planning, product, trading and account teams to turn sophisticated audience and media capabilities into commercially compelling solutions.
The right person will already have a strong network across at least one major agency group, meaningful client direct relationships, or both. You will understand programmatic and digital media, be comfortable selling a data led proposition and have a track record of growing revenue through relationships rather than transactional selling.
Previous senior sales hiring within the business has focused heavily on agency group development, senior relationship building, pipeline ownership, negotiation and closing complex media opportunities.
What makes this particular moment different is the chance to combine the agility of a specialist business with the capabilities and international reach of a much larger Adtech group.
The London team is still being built. For the right commercial person, that means there is room not only to grow a patch, but to influence how the business approaches the market as the two organisations come together.
£70,000 to £80,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus commission.
