Overview: Our client is a Social App on a mission for social positivity and bringing communities together. Due to exponential growth, we are seeking an Agency Sales Client Partner with an excellent track record of working with Big 6 Holding Companies on a strategic sales pitch and bringing in new briefs, My client has an unprecedented reach across the UK population with an audience who index as upwardly mobile.
This role requires a deep understanding of the media landscape and established relationships with key decision-makers within the media agency networks and independent agencies.
By leveraging your extensive network and industry expertise, you will be working with Comms Planners and Media Planner Buyers in a consultative manner underpinned with insight and data, This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading global business making waves in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive market share growth within the Top 6 media agency networks and independent agencies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, media planners, and buyers across key agencies, understanding their clients’ business objectives and providing tailored solutions.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the agency landscape, negotiating contracts and securing long-term commitments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, marketing, research and insight, customer success to ensure an excellent client and agency experience
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities, providing insights and recommendations to drive sales strategies on your patch
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, building brand awareness and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, delivering exceptional service and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership with a premium media owner, platform, AdTech business, or publishing business with a focus on selling to Top 6 media agency networks and independent agencies.
- Strong black book of contacts across media agency networks and independent agencies, with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships at senior levels.
- Deep understanding of, digital advertising trends, and platform including video, native ads, and digital display advertising
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
- Experience managing and developing mentoring junior members of the commercial team
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting sales data and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
