The opportunity:

I’m searching in Melbourne for a Creative Solutions Project Manager/Account Manager to work for for a leading Media and Entertainment business who are scaling rapidly in Australia. They recently have just secured one of the largest funding rounds for any Media & Entertainments business in recent history.

Key points:

  • They’re an online / social publisher which empowers 125M people globally with ‘event inspiration’, they are operating in 15+ markets and operate across 150 cities.
  • They offer brands bespoke experiential event activations, as well as various other online advertising solutions/content partnerships opportunities, working very creatively with brands. They’re also an app where you can purchase tickets to exciting events across your local city.
  • Some recent highlights include that they are co-producing live activation events for new Netflix originals, Warner Bro’s Productions and Disney Productions. They are data-driven, offer stocks to all new employees, and are hurtling towards a significant event where those stocks could vest!

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Creative Solutions Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with a passion for delivering innovative solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the Creative Solutions Project Manager will also play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team with proposal and brief responses.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between cross-functional teams.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and requirements.
  • Develop compelling and persuasive proposal and brief responses that showcase our creative capabilities.
  • Ensure that proposals and briefs accurately reflect the client’s goals and objectives.
  • Provide input on pricing and project scope to support the sales process.

Creative Problem-Solving:

  • Collaborate with creative teams to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed ideas.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of creative concepts.

Client Management:

  • Manage client relationships, building trust and maintaining open communication.
  • Understand client needs and expectations, ensuring project deliverables align with their goals.
  • Effectively communicate project progress and address client concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on creative projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Basecamp).

Desired Skills

  • Experience in the Marketing Advertising is preferred.
  • Knowledge of design and creative processes.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media.
  • Experience with client relationship management.
