Business Director – Influencer Marketing

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Director specialising in client services to manage a premium retained account.
Job Overview: The Business Director – Client Services will be responsible for overseeing and nurturing a high-value retained account within the agency This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in client relationship management, social, content creation and production, influencer marketing, and campaign execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent account management, client management and process framework skills as well as a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and excel at delivering exceptional client service and results, as well as have the ability to influence clients towards upselling, retention and investment in groundbreaking new work.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client on this account.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships based on trust.
- Understanding the client’s needs and objectives to provide strategic recommendations.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality services and results.
- Diplomacy and negotiation skills
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Oversight and management of client campaigns and working closely with Project Management to deliver creative work
- Proactive management / optimisation of client’s campaign work in terms of results, upsells, and inventory tweaks
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of influencer marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting of campaign statistics
Commercial Acumen:
- Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling additional services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support new business pitches and proposals.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging opportunities in influencer marketing.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure all processes and procedures are in place to deliver consistent and efficient client service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and campaign activities.

- Implement best practices and processes as well as effective client communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in client services, account management, or business development within the digital marketing or influencer marketing space.
- Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and delivering successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing, social media platforms, and digital advertising.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Highly organised with exceptional account handling and project management skills.
