Social Sales Executive – Digital / Social Media Sales
A leading UK media group is looking for a Social Sales Executive to join its growing social-first commercial team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with early experience in digital media sales, who enjoys selling to media agencies and brands, and wants to build their career across social, branded content, creator-led media and high-growth lifestyle categories.
The business has a strong portfolio of social-first brands across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, news and sport, with a growing presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, podcasts and original content.
You do not need to be the finished article. The key requirement is that you are a good digital seller with strong commercial instincts, confidence with clients, and a genuine interest in where social-first media is going.
The role will involve:
- Building and developing relationships with media agencies and brand clients
- Supporting new business outreach across digital, social and branded content
- Helping respond to briefs and shape commercial proposals
- Working with internal teams across content, creative and strategy
- Identifying opportunities across social video, creator-led content and lifestyle media
- Growing into a more specialist commercial role across fashion, beauty and culture
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in digital media, social media, branded content, partnerships or advertising sales
- Confidence selling to agencies and/or direct brands
- A proactive, commercially minded approach to new business
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Interest in social media, content, creators, fashion, beauty or culture
- The ambition to learn, develop and build a long-term career in social-first media
