Media Planning Lead

In-house at a consumer Retail Brand | London

  • Hybrid working (2 days a week in the office)
  • Up to £79,000 per annum
  • Temp to Perm (6 Month FTC, the Permanent)
  • Role focus on developing media planning frameworks, best practice in process and planning, whilst educating and developing local market planning capabilities.

A well-known high street retailer is in the process of expanding their in-house media operation, with a centralised global team based here in London. To help their markets develop better media plans, they are looking to bring in a Media Planning Lead to sit in their center of excellence.

The role scope looks after the following areas:

  • Leading various planning projects at a global level.
  • Identifying new ways to improve their planning processes, and upskilling the teams on how to make improvements.
  • Solve media challenges that face a business growing, at a rate of knots.
  • Analyse and review agency responses and media plans, making recommendations to ensure a joined up approach to local plans.
  • Become the planning champion within the business, offering day-to-day practical support to up-skill and educate the team and business on the value media provides.
  • Draft, build and create a comms planning framework, that can be used by all local media planners to drive consistency.

This isn’t a role that will be building media plans, but the theory and thinking behind it. It is the beacon of what good looks like and an incredibly important role within the business.
