Background:
My client is a leading light of an indie digital marketing agency with capabilities in the Social, PR, Content Creation, and SEO space to name a few. The agency has blue-chip household clients such as Lego, Adidas, The BBC, and others among their client roster.
Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a senior New Business leader who can spearhead the function at the agency. The successful candidate will be a member of the SLT and help steer the direction and future development of the agency.
The agency model is innovative in terms of its model in terms of all employees enjoying a share of the profits to drive a feeling of ownership.
Candidates must have gained experience in a similar function at a media or creative agency.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Prospect, source, and identify new business leads with a view toward securing new agency accounts
- Building lasting and impactful relationships with CMOs and Heads of Marketing
- Run excellent super-tight pitch processes that secure the business
- Thought leadership on topical issues in media, advertising, and marketing to create a halo around the agency brand and new business function
- Drive value for clients by speaking their currency in terms of solving their business issues
- Innovation-orientated in terms of mindset to help create standout for my client’s business
- Versed in the full spectrum of marketing and digital media such as social, influencer marketing, SEO, content creation and production, video content, and more
- Proven track records in revenue growth and excellent win ratios
