Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual with a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or a related field to join our team as a YouTube Content Creator and Science Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that educates, entertains, and inspires our audience. You will utilize your expertise in science to develop engaging scripts, explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, and experiment with different formats to captivate viewers. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in your field and incorporate them into our content strategy.

Responsibilities:

1. Research, develop, and script engaging video content on topics related to science, physics, and chemistry.
2. Present scientific concepts in a clear, concise, and entertaining manner for a diverse audience.
3. Create visually appealing graphics, animations, and demonstrations to enhance the educational value of videos.
4. Collaborate with the production team to ensure high production quality and adherence to brand standards.
5. Stay informed about current trends and developments in the fields of science, physics, and chemistry.
6. Engage with our audience by responding to comments, questions, and feedback on YouTube and other social media platforms.
7. Monitor and analyze video performance metrics to optimize content strategy and audience engagement.
8. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative ideation for new content initiatives and series.

Requirements:

1. PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
2. Demonstrated expertise and passion for science, with a strong understanding of fundamental principles and theories.
3. Proven experience creating educational or informative content, preferably for digital platforms such as YouTube.
4. Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging narratives.
5. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
6. Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and experiment with different content formats and styles.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and reliable scientific content.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Familiarity with SEO best practices and strategies for maximizing visibility and reach on YouTube.
10. Passion for science communication and a desire to inspire curiosity and learning in others.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience managing a YouTube channel or creating content for a large online audience.
2. Knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies for audience growth and engagement.
3. Familiarity with graphic design and motion graphics software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
4. Experience with livestreaming and engaging with viewers in real-time.
