Project & Multi-Hire Recruitment for teams built around growth

When one hire is not enough, recruiting role by role gets slow, fragmented and hard to manage. We run several connected hires as one coordinated search, built around the commercial objective behind them.

Why a project approach

One search for every hire, in every market.

01

Hire across the whole team

Sales, marketing, customer success, partnerships and leadership roles in one search, from the senior leader to the team beneath them.

02

Hire in several markets at once

One search across the UK & Europe, North America & Asia, whether you are opening one new country or fifteen, as Hivestack did.

03

Run as one coordinated search

One team, one process and one view of the market across every role, led by a Director and a member of the Ultimate Asset board.

Who we do our best work for

Built for businesses hiring several roles at once.

This is where a project approach does its best work. It isn’t a strict checklist, and we run projects well beyond it, but if a few of these sound like you, we should talk.

Discuss your hiring project
  • Hiring several roles across sales, marketing, customer success or partnerships
  • Hiring a senior leader and the team that will report to them
  • Opening one or more new countries or regions
  • Building out a team after investment, with a deadline to have it in place
  • Launching a new product, business unit or office
  • Without the internal TA capacity to run several searches at the same time
How it works

From brief to full team in four steps.

01

Brief

A call with a Director and a member of the board to agree every role, market, priority and budget across the team.

02

Map

We map the talent in each market, benchmark pay and agree which hires should come first.

03

Search

Searches run in parallel across every role and market, headhunting passive talent rather than waiting on applications.

04

Build

Shortlists, offers and regular reporting run across the whole project until the final hire starts.

Common questions

Project & Multi-Hire, answered.

What is Project & Multi-Hire recruitment?

A coordinated approach to recruiting several connected roles within one hiring project. The roles are planned, mapped and delivered around the same commercial objective rather than treated as separate vacancies. It isn't volume recruitment: the focus stays on specialist commercial, GTM and leadership hires.

When should a company use it?

When building a new team, entering a market, scaling a function, hiring after investment or recruiting several similar roles within a defined period.

How is it different from Contingent Search and Executive Search?

Contingent Search usually focuses on one vacancy, and Executive Search on a senior, confidential or market-critical appointment. Project & Multi-Hire coordinates several connected searches, with market intelligence, sequencing and reporting across the full project.

Which roles can a project include?

Leadership and individual contributor roles across sales, revenue and GTM leadership, marketing, customer success, partnerships and specialist functions such as programmatic, data, retail media and CTV. A senior leader and the team beneath them can sit in the same project.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the number of roles, markets and seniority levels. As a guide, Criteo's 12 Agency Sales hires across London and Barcelona took three months, and Hivestack's 23 senior hires across 15 markets took seven months. Not every role has to start at once; sequencing is part of the plan.

How is a Project & Multi-Hire search priced?

It depends on the number of roles, markets and the timeline. Past projects have used a monthly retainer with a reduced success fee on each hire, and exclusive terms across a defined set of roles. We will set out the options once we understand the project.

Who runs the project?

The team is built around the hiring need, so it reflects the roles, markets and functions involved. Every project includes a Director and a member of the Ultimate Asset board, who stay involved from briefing through to the final hire.

Can you run projects internationally?

Yes. We deliver searches across the UK & Europe, North America & Asia, in one market or several at once, and have built both regional leadership structures and country-by-country teams.
