Digital Strategy Partner
Digital Strategy Partner
London | 4 days a week in office | Up to £130,000
There is a point in a strategist’s career where the opportunity becomes less about answering the brief and more about helping define the problem before the brief even exists.
That is what makes this role interesting.
We are working with a leading independent media agency looking to appoint a Digital Strategy Partner into a senior role sitting at the intersection of media, data, technology, AI and measurement.
The remit goes well beyond digital planning.
You will work directly with senior clients on the bigger questions behind growth. What needs to change? Where should the business be in the next one to three years? How should media, data and technology work together to get there?
From there, you will turn complexity into a clear direction.
That means diagnosing barriers to growth, building transformation roadmaps, leading senior workshops and creating practical priorities that planning, analytics, activation, product and technology teams can execute against.
At this level, your influence extends well beyond individual accounts.
You will lead the digital strategy on major pitches, shape the narrative behind high stakes client opportunities and help turn strategic thinking into new consultancy products, frameworks and propositions that can be used across the wider business.
You will also play an important role in raising the agency’s overall digital capability.
That could mean developing new points of view around AI, commerce, retail media or emerging platforms, building diagnostic tools, coaching teams or creating stronger evidence around what genuinely drives client growth.
Importantly, this is not an activation leadership role.
You are not there to own channel budgets, campaign optimisation or delivery. Your value comes from setting the direction, making the difficult choices and bringing the right specialists together around the client problem.
The strongest fit will bring significant senior experience across digital media or data strategy, with enough breadth to connect paid media, technology, AI and measurement into one coherent commercial story.
You will already be comfortable advising senior clients on complex transformation or growth questions, leading important pitches and simplifying difficult problems into practical recommendations.
Commercial judgement matters too.
They want someone who can identify where better strategy creates not only stronger client outcomes, but new scopes, deeper partnerships and sustainable growth for the agency.
Experience within consultancy, transformation, commerce, retail media or marketing technology would be valuable, but the bigger requirement is intellectual range. You need to be curious about where digital is going and credible enough to help senior clients decide what they should actually do about it.
For someone already operating at senior Strategy Director level, this is an opportunity to move into a role with broader organisational influence.
You will shape client transformation, major pitches, new products and the way the wider agency thinks about digital growth, while remaining close enough to the work to make a visible difference.
